P. Köhler Police SSR scope

Finally received it, and since they are not that common and most pictures found are of a rather bad quality thought I should give a reference for those who need it.

The mount is matching numbers to the scope, #1525 was the serial of the rifle it was originally issued with. Looks hand engraved, or do I see this wrong? #35 is the mount assembly number and should also be on the base it was originally paired and mounted with.

Note in comparison with "normal" SSR the round top of the rings, the differently shaped rings in general, the rounded top between the two rings, and the checkering on the locking lever.

Great addition to Your Collection . Thank You for Sharing It . IMHO this Very hard example to find in any condition . I have seen a couple other matching examples with this numbering style and IMO this is engraved numbering and not Stamped . Best Regards

My Mount has Stamped #`s and Scope I don`t recall but can look . But I have seen were Mount has Stamped Numbers and Scope has engraved matching numbers . Best Regards.
