Possible Help on identifying a possible German rearsenal and life post German use

Hi,
So recently I picked up this very nice and matching Byf 41 Mauser but noted some distinct details about it, such as, All matching but certain parts being from other German manufacturers but still matching serial numbers, Front sight hood Groves (didn’t start being done till 43 if I’m correct), French Sling Cut out, Etching on Bolt to Match serial numbers but has matching 655 waffenampt even though being a WW1 Erfurt bolt, None of the waffenampts being pinged, No import Marks, (Partial coverage of serial numbers for privacy reasons) also possibility of not all photos being uploaded so If more are needed please ask

Is there a possibility you have a question about the rifle? Looks to me the bolt is a mismatch.

These are called postwar French reworks becuase of the sling bars. But I'm not so sure, becuase they don't have any other postwar french k98k characteristics. Though they do seem to have some unique characteristics of there own. Interesting rifle.

The French used plenty of German wartime made K98k rifles after the war with little or no modifications other than an added sling bar. You may be thinking of the rifles made at mauser Oberndorf under French supervision after the war. Most of those ended up with some distinctive features not seen on other K98k's. Front sight hoods started in approximately late 1940 as I recall, not 43.
