I’ve seen this scope and I wonder what is it?
The feet and the body wear the same number (gew N°9704 on the body)
The feet seem to be good for military use in ww1
But what about the drum? It doesn’t have the standard range marks
never for Prussia nor for Bavaria.
Could it be an early scope for hunt riffle from 1915?
Thanks for your help

In my opinion, it is a scope that was initially used on a hunting rifle and was later used for military purposes. In the early days, many civilian scopes were brought into military use through donations from hunters. The rifle serial number marking on the tube is in my eyes original.
