thats a nice carbine.

The unit marking 8.H.5. on your carbine 71 stands for the Husaren-Regiment „Kaiser Nikolaus II. von Russland“ Nr. 8. So your carbine was used by the 8th hussar regiment of the prussian army.


The other marking is an acceptance stamp, showing that this particular piece was produced to a certain standard.
