Reproduction K98 Sniper Find

Found this double claw mount K98 sniper replica on GB. The description says it has a reproduction stock, reproduction optic, but the rest of the parts are "all matching"

I looked at the markings on the receiver, but I do not recognize some of the markings. Some of the markings almost look like they were done recently Can y'all tell me more about this rifle?
 
It's just like the seller says. An ok copy for a re enactor. It'll look great from across the room. Put together and renumbered postwar.
 
Reproduction Steyr single claw. Looks like a set of igor mounts on a bnz steyr rifle, so whoever had it assembled did some homework.
Might just be my eyes, but looks like the scope is angled upwards....

I will give kudos to the seller listing it as a reproduction and not being vague or flatout misleading that it's anything but a repro.

Thanks for posting this, I’m working on a repro high turret, good to see what this one looks like. Glad to see it listed honestly. But for a ‘professional’ creation, I’m disappointed to see the recoil lug installed backwards, and the hand guard fit might have been a lot better. It doesn’t fit the lip on the rear sight properly, and overhangs the stock, normally a sign of replacement. IMO, it should have been sanded to match the width of the stock to preserve the look and feel of an authentic, matched rifle.

that & I’m a turret guy. The rifle Sombra bought is about as close to a side mount as I’d ever go. I’ve decided to quit futzing around w/rescues (tho I enjoy doing so) & make a dedicated shooter, fondle but don’t shoot the collectables.

Once you receive the rifle you gotta let us know how it is! It looks like a pretty accurate reproduction from what others are saying
