Rg34 Ky 1940 matched Kit

Here is my recent purchase rg34 Ky 1940 . Its all matching. Oiler ,spoon dated 1940, and the chain is dated 1939. I,m sure this was issued like this. The Brusches are nice shape.

Very nice! HKW seems to have a "pin" that is longer than typically encountered.

Would agree that well endowed HKW likely had the pin replaced at some time...perhaps a field repair.

Good eye guys, I never noticed that. I compared to my other ones . And yes it's a bit longer. Maybe a field repair like pwcosol said. Or who know's some might have fixed the missing pin to make it look better. Its still a matched kit. either way.

I like it! I always liked the ky1940 marking for some reason.

I like it. Repaired pins are more common than you think, and don't affect the value at all IMO.
