"Ach du lieber!"
I meant to post this one earlier with my FJ helmet. I got it earlier this summer from the vets brother- the veteran who brought it home was James Earliwine of Belmont, Ohio. I've been trying to research his unit so far without success, but his brother thought it was something armor related. Anyways, a gun I never thought I'd own and certainly didnt think I'd find right out of the woods. It's an S code (1936) that came rigged out with a brown 36 date holster, 2 non matching mags, and a takedown tool. Luckily it has the Krieghoff signature Ritzmann grips though one corner has a chip. After having one of these in hand I can absolutely see why luger collectors consider them the pinnacle. They're nicer even than a Simson IMO.
