Hello "biggymu"
Not very nice your reflection, who made you say that I am not the owner of this S/27.G n°4492?? It's ME the Pseudo Waffenampt of the TCAR forum [Tir collection armes réglementaires].
https://www.tircollection.com/t30164-mauser-s27g-1935
I have owned it since 2013 and will own it until I die.

Good for you

Something must have been misunderstood in the translation. My post is one of a complement on your very fine rifle. Thank you for the wonderful photographs.

Outstanding rifle, looks so new it feels unreal. Is that stock repaired at the back or is that just an imperfection in the wood grain?

Hi there
Thank you for all the appreciations thank you for all those who appreciated the photos of this venerable 87-year-old grandmother who has kept her youth and her freshness by a miracle she has escaped the aging of passing time.
I am attaching a photo showing the control punches [Waffenamt] on the right side of the receiver You can see that the middle hallmark Waffenamt "280" was over struck on the code 132…… If there are connoisseurs they can answer this question, ..... I know the reason for this over strike.

Thank you for sharing the cost, story and the pictures with us. Envy is not something I want to allow or experience. Right now, after seeing this, well.......
Thank you !

What a fabulous looking Rifle !!!!!!! The blueing is eye shattering and so is the stock a true treasure !!!!!!!!!!!

I am very moved by your compliments which means a lot to me.🙏🙏
I will talk about its sling, it was assigned to the rifle in January 1935, it is its original sling Explanation : I put a photo above showing the right side of the receiver where there are the 3 control punches [ 132 - 280 - 280 ] 132 is the control mark of 1935 280 is the control mark of 1936

Which means that the rifle began to be assembled in the day of December 31, 1935, and was finished on January 1, 1936, you can see that the middle punch was struck 280 on the 132 So the strap was assigned at the very beginning of 1936 and it is indeed its original strap. You can see the stamp “CARL KUNTZE 1936 PENIG. SA “the ramp is in excellent condition despite being 87 years old. Here you know everything about this S27G One last detail when I bought it in 2013, it was dirty I simply cleaned it with a cloth and thinner + linseed oil on the stock
