For reference: This is a pic showing the mount relief in the stock of a Sauer finished SSR .

Do the Bands match the Stock serial # ?? Also can you show stock production info/year of production
 
Dave, the bands do/did match the stock number. This stock was from a rifle that I shared with you about 15 years ago. The vet who brought the SSR back, put the matching rifle in a Fajen stock, then sold it at auction. I bought the stock from the vet and no longer have it. Pics recently rediscovered by me. I have more pics but only posted those pertaining to the mount relief that Sauer used.

OK , I recall discussing this one with You back then . I tried getting pics from the auction house of the rifle and I believe I tried or did contact the buyer but never got any further with him as far as getting pics of it .
