I’ve been having a lot of luck with Artillery bayonets lately. Here is a matching scabbard W08 Erfurt. No major revelations in terms of acceptance, but good to have another documented example.

Marking is 6th foot artillery regiment, 8th battery, 145th weapon. Here is the history of Fußartillerie-Regiment von Dieskau (Schlesisches) Nr.6

I have a refurbished S98/05nA bayonet of same unit, most real refurbished in war to nA as the origin bayonet is Erfurt W/08 too, the unit is of 2.company 6.A.F.2.122, the bayonet is already in metall scabbard. The condition is much worser as here. On Your piece was realised switch from B to D inspector.

Great artillery marked one Cyrus. I was thinking for a second because I thought I might have a 1910 98a marked to this regiment. I went and checked though and it's to the 8th foot artillery. Close though! Haha
