Sg.98 bym 43 99252.497 Web frog. Had this one a long time. Can't read the stamp on the back of the frog. Sorry for the old storage grease on it. It matches.

I assume the piece is from Mike W., as reported it from early BCN period, the scabbard is probably bym44 marked, so a mixed date configuration bym43/44 piece. Nice win.

I’ve owned it over 20+ years and my recollection is that it was a woodwork find. I was in BCN when it was an email group long ago, and it is probably me who reported it.

Its more as real You are right and is possible in BCN it provided by table from Mike W. but wout designation whoes bayonet it was, this table was sent from Mike around 2002. so 20 years ago.
