Would he be able to get capture papers for those weapons and bring them home on the up and up? I am sure there were some sent back without authorization.
Cool picture! I doubt theyre souvenirs though, most likely taking the captured weapons post firefight to a local collection point for disposal. Magazine is dated Jan of 45' - a little early to be souvenir hunting full autos
