Does anybody know what the stamp on the bottom of the stocks means?

It means that somebody has crossed out a serial number and restamped a new number.
Questions are; when, by whom, does it match the receiver number and should there have been a number there in the first place (I vote no to the last).

I think that "K3" in a rectangle is an East German rework marking.
