stock provider ?

is this a stock provider's code (S/27 98k) and if yes who is it (if known obviously)

nobody can answer ?? i thought that this "K" was like the "P" found on many other stocks

K on a stock means it is for a Karabiner - the Kar98k... nothing more, nothing less. Earlyon, many parts were stamped with a K to denote they were specific to the Kar98k, and not the Gew98/Standard Modell/DRP etc also concurrently in service.

P remains a bit undecided, but seems to correspond to replacement stocks by memory.
