ONLY ONE, SUPER RARE TURD REICH ARTIFACT CAME BACK !!!!!!

German. Mauser. K.98k VG1. "svw 45" Chamber Marked. Serial number 4339'b'. 7,92 (8mm Mauser). A Very Scarce K.98k Variation made in the last months of WWII from parts on hand. Stock is Marked "Kasto", a Wood Stock Supplier to Mauser. Bolt is serial numbered 4392. Barrel is serial number 387'e'. With Leather Sling.

Not many of these came back after WWII as they are Very Crude and were much hard to transport than a Pistol.

Tell me

The person who has this rifle lives just down the street. It is a interesting rifle. The stock appears to be Birdseye maple with a varnish finish applied. So would some forum member tell me what is wrong. Is it a total modern made fake or a correct action in modern wood or what. I am 81 and can not read very well so me doing research is very difficult. I have quite a few last ditch Japanese guns and I know about Japanese but not too much about Mauser. I always wanted a last ditch Mauser but do not want to over pay. So any information a member would be appreciated.

The gun IS a total complete FAKE. A put together out of at least 3 other guns. Buy this POS and you will find you need a 5 gallon can of Preparation H to sooth your raw butt hole from the screwing.

Here is a link to a discussion when this giant turd floated up before...

Seller either got suckered, and is trying to flip it, or is just a carnival barking huckster POS...I think even pics are the same, so likely latter...

Not BE Maple, but beech!

There was a Mitchells Mauser that apparently sold up here in Canada for $2500 the other day.

Well the insanity just keeps rolling along. Every time one 'sells' everyone thinks theirs is worth that much... at least. This clown has a $2500 start and a $3200 BIN. $3200?? Maybe for a dozen of them.

It is a special issue weapon for these guys...
