Hello,

the "C" is the old way in the bavarian army to mark a Cuirassier-Regiment, different to the prussian "K". So its the 1. (Bavarian) Cuirassier-Regiment "Prinz Karl von Bayern", 3. Eskadron, Weapon number 335.

This was still used with the 1872 "unit marking regulation". In 1878 Bavaria renamed their Cuirassiers-Regiments to "schwere Reiter-Regiment (heavy rider-regiments) and so the "C" was switched for the new "s.R." as it's written in the bavarian 1882 "unit marking regulation".

With kind regards

Vincent
