Unknow marking

Hello collectors.
I know that this is forum for mauser rifles,anyway,i would like to ask you,do you know something about the marking on barrel of my ww2 M1 carbine?

I know NOTHING, but my guess is its the trade mark of a modern replacement barrel maker, I see letters “JB” with a horizontal line through the middle. I did find this link, about those rifles, lotsa good pix.

I enhanced the photo and enlarged it. I have the “War Baby”reference and searched for a bit on my own. I can’t find any mention of this stamp. Is the barrel dated anywhere? Any other marks? Good luck.

Thank you,the barrel is marked Inland mfg div. of General Motors 9-44.Also american war time proofmark P. This unknow marking is sure post war,some acceptance mark of foreign army.
