$ Value of a RC transitional "not drilled" stock?

I know that this thread is old, but I recently acquired a dou 43 that also has the dTp stamped stock and no serial number. Did they have "transitional" stocks in 1943 or is this, most likely, a 1944 stock?

The unnumbered stocks started in late 1944. Occasionally one finds an earlier receiver that was built later (e.g. Farb's S/42 Kriegsmodell), but otherwise I would expect a 1943 assembled rifle to have a numbered stock and no Kriegsmodell type features.

Would checking if my rifle was pre-drilled for a cleaning rod help in determining the period of the stock?

Yes. But I would recommend that you take photos of the rifle and stock then post them in a new thread.
