Hello, I need some good info on how to remove a stuck gas piston from the the gas block to install a shooters kit . Tried all the known oils, Kroil, p blaster , WD 40 , no luck. Does anyone have a good answer ? Thanks

Sure....shoot a round out of it and it will be loose. I've done it at least on five different G/K43s and it worked perfectly.

A bit of heat with a propane torch on the outside of the gas block should help.

I misunderstood you.....I thought you were trying to get the cylinder off of the piston. Yes, heat on the gas block will help.

Hello, I finally got the the gas piston tube out of the gas block
to install my shooters kit. I forgot my chemistry courses that makes this simple . Soak the piston with every kind of lubricant . Do this daily , 1 week . remove gun from stock . Heat the gas block with mild propane heat. Apply pb blaster , Kroil , WD 4, maintain a little heat. Heres the trick , take aerosal computer air , tip it upside down and blast the piston tube till it freezes . Apply wrench force . Voila , it came out . I forgot to video oops.

Heat and Kroil is all that I ever use. Became a believer in Kroil when removing a turbo from a 30+ year old SVO Mustang. Won a case of beer on a bet all four bolts would snap. They came off perfectly.

Yes, heat surely works. or place it inside the wise tap with 20oz GS hammer right forward like you screw it back then back it out with more taps, and along the way heat for three second or less. will come out. After you need to clean all the carbon. light oil.
