why Bubba sucks - more in a continuing series

So when you have a minty, clean t block odd-sized laminate stock what's a d-bag to do??? :)

He almost completely obliterated the bolt cutout...

..It is a necro-thread but fits well with your theme:

"This bubba has nearly perfected the art of reverse alchemy (turning gold into lead)." Oddly your agony makes me feel less disappointed. The butt area on yours looks horrific.

Just saw a really late dot44 stock on a rifle for sale on armslist today in my state. But guess what Bubba had to turn that stock into a hunting rifle.

I tend to be philosophical about such things.

Yeah, it sucks, but "bubba" was most likely the guy who brought it back. And as far as I'm concerned, he could do whatever he wanted with the thing. And we tend to forget these rifles were a dime a dozen back in the day.

True but were seeing more and more bubba jobs being done nowadays too. Here was an untouched K43 that was found in a barn a few years ago. The buyer got great advise from facebook. Sanded the untouched stock and refinished it, plus took steel wool too the metal. Took it down too bare steel in the end. He thought it was looking purdy when he was done!

Believe it or not but I saw a cut down Nagant at a range a few years ago like this. But bubba thought it was a cool noise maker! The wrench bolt action is one of my favorite bubba guns I have found.
