Yugo 98's lineage

Is there any way of telling the lineage of a K98k mauser that has been redone by the Yugo's, say by machinist hallmarks etc?

TIA

There may be markings on the underside of the receiver that may help with identifying the maker. Sometimes waffenamts or even the reciever code are faintly visible if the receiver wasn't scrubbed too hard.

Take it out of the stock and photograph any markings.

If it still has the original German barrel the barrel code can give some clues as well as any WaA still visible on the bolt or action. Like JB says, take it out of the stock and take pics of any markings in the steel.

The serial number on the right side receiver is Yugo. The WaA 26 is either Borsigwalde or Berlin-Lubecker. Not sure if the WaA 26 was used by any other makers.
