Here is a very unique Yugoslavian M24CK carbine which were shorter than the cavalry carbines and were given to the Chetnik or assault units of the royal army, it used a special bayonet that is rarer then the carbine, this example #2109 is matching.

Outstanding, and very rare. One of my 'one of these days' rifles. That one is in very nice condition, congratulations.

Very nice, interesting is on bayonet adapter second notch as for 2 different type of bayonets.

The M1924C bayonets did not attach like typical Mauser bayonets and were configured very differently.

Very unique! The bolt handle especially. If I saw one in a store I wouldn't have thought factory bent bolt. Thank you for sharing.

I believe both of the notches are required to secure the original bayonet, as there is no muzzle ring to act as a second point of contact with the rifle.
I wondered about the two notches as well. Unfortunately, don't have a CK carbine to try it with standard M1924 bayonet! The CK bayonet always reminded me of a Roman Gladius.

I really like this rifle. Its hard to find much information on these. Anyone know the rough production numbers on these carbines?
