As I have shown in my video, I have estimated the production number of ZF41s from the serial# of my database.
Total number
ProductionNumber1.jpg
ZF40* and ZF40
ProductionNumber2.jpg
I believe the actual production number of ZF41 would never be under 200k and the ZF40s be around 30k.

Let me explain once again for someone new on the forum.
I have started making a website on the German Rifle Scopes of WWII, mainly on the ZF41 scope, since 20th October 2003.
http://zielfernrohr.b.la9.jp/

And have been gathering information on the subject. Now in the site are several information that is not written in any published books.
For instance:
>Found the ZF41 manufacturer “bmj” and “emv” (They are not in Senich's or Law’s book.)
>The difference of the 3 types of ZF41
>The information on the ZF40 and the ZF40*
>The meaning of the lubricant markings and their usage as a clue for assuming the year of production

These are the achievements gained from the ZF41 Database I have been making.

I would like to express my thanks to everyone who had helped me offering the data of their scopes.
If you have any scopes that are not in the database, your information, especially with the photos, would be greatly appreciated. I am always waiting for your help.

Also, I have started making a short video on the theme from October 2022 for more explanation. I know they are not really good (I mean the technic of video making, not the information!), but take a look and let me know what you think.

Ken, do you cover the ZF41 on .22 rifles on your website? At a quick glance I didn't find anything. Thanks!
