Thanks Vincent, it's cool the symbol continues to survive, it's unique. I recall seeing it on a few other items as a property mark from Württemberg too. I have a Walther model 4 holster with it.What a treasure of a rifle. Congratulations, Chris.
The wurttemberg antler is still used today as a proofmark by the proof office in the city of Ulm in modern day Baden-Württemberg.
