Thank you, on the chart I had it looked like an incomplete lower case "g" but it looked more like a "y" to me so I thought I would ask for clarification since my vision is not what it used to be.It is y and this is a damn fine example, - it was was detailed in 2001 by a well-respected collector and it has a good pedigree (past owner had an eye for quality!)
Probably a different owner, once owned by a collector in Alabama, the only thing I saved was the 2004 text, which stated it all matching and saw little action. This one came from a long time friend and Mauser collector who is a member of the forum. I need to search for the detail post on it, is that post in this section?
