    Extended barrel G43??

I have had 3 that have been rebarreled with factory barrels due to bubba destroying the originals and I have had a couple of receivers barreled. Its not a big issue to have it done and as was mentioned before, many have been rebarreled into 30-06 and I even had one that was in .270 (i restored...

    Extended barrel G43??

Most barrels came in 550CM but there are cases with barrels being 500CM and 600CM. They experimented with various lengths.

    G43 function, trigger questions/problem

There is a screw in the sear that can be adjusted for trigger pull length. Some are seized and you cant get them to move but if yours is free, you can try to adjust it. However, I dont think that is your accuracy issue. Like K98Dave said, check your crown.

G43 bolt carrier pitted - strange

That almost looks like a relic part that someone dug up. Definitely was stored poorly.

This a good deal? - G43 with duffle cut - what's wrong with it??

In Apfeltors defense, if you look on his website, he is not saying that you need to fix the seam at the bottom. If you look at his examples, there is a crack from hole to hole in the back that is repaired. That is a crack that you need to fix, not the seam at the bottom. Big difference.

This a good deal? - G43 with duffle cut - what's wrong with it??

That is the rear of the bolt housing (action cover). It is totally normal and is on ALL stamped ones. only the machined and more rare ones do not have this. That is NOT the receiver. Look at the photo again. you can see the overhang of the cover in the upper left of the photo.

    original parts?

trigger group parts are legit. I dont know of anyone making repros of those. The muzzle nut looks like a repro but could be the photo. rear sight parts look like repros to me. Again, it could be the photos but if I was a buyer, I wouldnt pay original prices for the set by the photos.

    1944 Berlin-Lubecker G43 project help

I was watching that bolt and the rest of the parts he had. Looks like some of the bidding got a little out of hand. Good for the seller though.

    Just some mags.....

You have some nice ones. I wish I would have pulled the trigger on a AWJ from Europe a year ago. I took too long to decide if I wanted to pay top dollar and someone else swooped in and grabbed it.

    Duv44 stock repair (edit) repaired!

there is a stock manufacturer State side. He is in Oregon. I have not purchased one from him yet but I have heard some good reviews. Murry's Gunstocks makes them. He is a little bit more pricey but his turn around is a lot quicker. https://murraysgunstocks.com/military-gunstocks

    Duv44 stock repair (edit) repaired!

That is not a good candidate for repair without really noticing it AND that area is the weakest point for a repair job. Its a shooter to begin with so get a primo Fox Stock and get that thing shooting again.

    Stock repair recommendations?

Like GunKraut said, Acraglas is the way to go but the wrist is a hard area to repair and have it be strong enough. It is always the weakest point in the stock.

Yugo amm with a shooter kit

I have been lucky not to have any old Yugo do that to me. I only ever shot it in a k98. Now Turk ammo is a another story. That garbage is wild and had a lot of case failures. Anyone that would ever shoot Turk in a G/K43 needs their head examined!!!
