Dual Date Kar98a, WW1-WW2 service with HzA.

Hello, I found a mostly matching 1916 Erfurt dual date Kar 98, with original sling but the main issue is someone basically stripped the forend and some of the upper band. Normally I'd not have hesitated but the stripped part makes me unsure. How hard would it be to "restore" that portion?

Polish depots during the interwar period

I'm not anywhere near an expert, but my 1930 K29 is all matching, but there is one piece "force matched," the firing pin. The bolt is also blued when I understand they were originally in the white. I don't know if any of this is indicative of Polish or German, just an observation that, at least...

    possible purchase, Polish Radom WZ29

Production Information The production chart I see shows there were 28,200 made I 1934 tough it is still up to debate as any solid information on these is a challenge. I LOVE my 1930 K29 (wz29, but marked different).

    possible purchase, Polish Radom WZ29

If I'm not mistaken, the original bolts ARE in the white, German "captured" ones were often blued. Sent from my SM-G965U using Tapatalk

    Saw This on Gunboards

Pwcosol, thanks for the education! Not to hijack the thread, but my bolt is blued, and I have to go look to see if the follower is modified to hold open. These are the only photos I have on my phone. Sent from my SM-G965U using Tapatalk

    Saw This on Gunboards

These are really unique rifles that are hard to find "truth" on. There were so many scrubbed SCW rifles out there, finding one like this one is pretty rare. Mine looks just like it, all matching but is a 1930 K29 as opposed to wz29 and no WaA, but previous discussion suggests it is German used...

    German used Polish Wz29

This is my favorite rifle. I struggle to find good info, so it is nice to see another non-SCW example! Mine is SN: 50##a. Sent from my SM-G965U using Tapatalk

    1930 F.B. Radom K29

Unfortunately your pictures seem broken in my view. I'd love to see it. I have a 1930 K29 I've been trying to learn more about as well. Sent from my SM-G965U using Tapatalk

Trouble with "Add to Cart" It may just be my crappy connection but I tried to click "add to cart" on my computer and on my phone and it does nothing, but as I said, my internet connection is kinda crap right now. Anyone else having a problem? Thanks! Looking forward to getting set #496!

Can't wait! I presume just letting you know what number I have for Volumes 1 and 3 is all you need for getting the matching volume 2? Thanks! Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk

G.29/40 660 1939 Radom Crest Wz. Line out

My holy grail! I love that rifle! I want one some day to bridge the gap between my 1930 Radom K29 and my 1940 660 Code Steyr K98k. Even love all the wear, it is perfect to me. Very nice sir. Someday...

    1930 K29/wz29, all matching

Thanks Hambone. I have found an interest in occupied country weapons because there is so little understood about them. If this helps with the body of knowledge, let me know what i can do to share more.

    1930 K29/wz29, all matching

Here are a few more. When the lighting is better outside I'll try to take some more "artistic" photos. Any thoughts, opinions, or theories on the life of this rifle are appreciated!

    1930 K29/wz29, all matching

More photos, very pleased I picked her up today. I'll take better photos soon but here are some more of the bolt, bayonet mount, and firing pin. All matches but the firing pin does have a different number crossed out and then matched...I love it. The nicest Radom K29/wz29 I've seen. I am...

1930 K29/wz29 Radom, all matching Good evening, I found an all matching 1930 Radom K29/wz29 that I am looking to get tomorrow. I have been doing research but there is scant information available so far. I also understand they may have been used by German forces even without any WaA. It is...

    pinstripe handguard?

Per the Kreigsmodel book that Mike and Steve produced, on page 215, this appears to be a "pinstripe" or "experimental laminate" stock made by Steyr for late bnz. "kreigsmodel" rifles showing up in the "S" block in 1945. Those with more experience than I please correct me.

1916 all matching Mauser Oberndorf G98 finally home!

Thank You Loewe. I'm trying to get better at photography. I appreciate the observations and input on the link between this and my byf43. That was kind of what drew me to this rifle. Nothing super unique but pretty representative what a landser may have carried at the height of their...
