    Barnfind BSW 38 "a" block

Finding any BSW made K98k is a difficult task and finding an honest bolt MM that's been through the wringer is a rare find indeed. The bolt stop does look like an armorer's part to me but I'll let someone with a bit more knowledge on that chime in. Congrats on even finding an intact BSW, that's...

    bcd4 Opinions

I don't like the fact that there's no pictures of the stock acceptance that should be present on this one, paying over $3k for something with a sanded stock and a broken screw on a more common K98k is absurd imo. This should be at least half that if it's been sanded.

    AC44 Panel Cut Sniper

That's an absolute stunner of a Walther sniper, doesn't get more textbook than that! Love seeing the pairing, maybe one day I'll see something that nice in person. I've added this one to the reference.

Limited reprint of Volume III - Kriegsmodell- now in production.

I got mine yesterday and just wanted to say the book looks fantastic and completes the series as I was only missing this one. Now I have a bit more info to go through for my bcd 4. Thanks Bruce!

    Bavarian Rebuild Erfurt/Spandau 08/12 9867c

That's a really neat and storied rifle, hard to imagine how much effort went into salvaging this receiver and rebuilding it into a complete rifle! Thanks for posting such detailed pics of it, reworked rifles have so much variety that makes every single rifle unique. The early Erfurt built by...

    Oberndorf Gew98 1918 'a' block

That's a phenomenal rifle with a sweet beech stock on it too! Definitely one of the rarer 1918 Gewehr 98s to find non-Turked, congrats on finding one!

    S/42G

    S/147 1937 - 6769 No Letter - All Matching

Finding an intact pre-war K98k in any sort of decent shape is becoming more and more of a challenge these days, congrats on an honest JPS! I'm definitely curious to see what it looks like underneath the wood line, probably untouched bluing judging by how immaculate the screw slots are.

    Danzig 1917

Damn, you have some wonderful 1917 Gewehrs and this one is certainly a beauty! I really like the two-tone, two-piece stock on this one, definitely a unique look compared to others. This beech doesn't seem to have that really orange hue that later ones do, is this a train oil finish on this one...

1937 Polish FB Radom Wz.29 (Twice) Duffle Cut

Nice wz.29s are few and far between as it is, the history on this one and the condition (even with the duffle cut) would make for an excellent addition regardless. Congrats on a sweet Polish mauser!

    J.P. Sauer 1917

That's a beauty! Congrats on picking up a really nice JPS Gew 98, the beech stock is fantastic on this one!

G41 duv 43 on GB - Auction Madness

Who would've guessed, a pair of morons with more money than brains. To Cyrano's point, you see this kind of behavior at large/reputable auction houses too (RIA, Morphy, etc.) where two guys who only buy from there drive up each other's bids to sky high prices. For that kind of money, I'm buying...

GEW 98 1907 Deutsche-Waffen Und Munition Fabriken Berlin

The "4" depot marking on the buttplate indicates that this one took a trip to Cologne at some point in its service life. Looks like there is a second depot marking above the 4 but I can't quite make it out. Regardless, it's a prewar Gewehr 98 that survived in pretty decent shape all things...

G41 duv 43 on GB - Auction Madness

I had this one on my watchlist as I'm sure many of you did but this one went for an astronomical price of $14,404.00 which is way too high in my mind for one of these. I get that nice G41s are uncommon to say the least but this just seems over the top, I thought a fair price would've been around...

    Finally Added a Matching G.33/40

Honest used rifles like this are underrated, these are the true warhorses that actually saw service rather than some rack queen that sat in a depot for the conflict. Really like the walnut stock on this one, hopefully I can come across an honest matching example like yours one day. Congrats on...

    dou 44 matching

Congrats on a stunning dou 44, really like the use of the Imperial firing pin on this one. And the stock on this one is really nice too.

P.38 ac42 with both matching magazines

That's a beauty and a wonderful rig, congrats! It's hard enough to find a nice honest ac 42 but one with two matching mags and the holster is a pleasant surprise.

    Early 1917 Amberg 6648b

You're saying you're not a fan of the USPS takedown mod? That's a stellar repair that you did, can't even see where the crack was. Congrats on a nice Amberg with a walnut stock, most Ambergs seem to be beech.

    1890 ERFURT KAR 88

Congrats on a nice Erfurt, I love the look of Kar 88s and the wood on this one is phenomenal! Where'd you manage to find this one if you don't mind me asking?
