S/42 G e block DRP Köln

I agree, an incredible rifle, - rifles like this are once in lifetime opportunities, and I doubt there is a finer example in existence.

Sure is a cracker Wow,you may have payed plenty, but I bet there are some guys here that would take it off your hands for a tidy profit.

Are you positive it isn't an RC or a Mitchell's Mauser? If so you got a goodun. No really, I agree, a once in a lifetime G date.

That is the nicest pre-war rifle I've seen. I have heard of others in like condition from Scott B, but have not seen them. I agree that it would be hard to walk away from.

Found it while researching my 1915 GEW98M. S/42G. (Unfortunately Sporterized.) Front stock forend and shorter curved bolt handle. Made me want to cry. 😢

(But) I traded a generic semi-auto, mag fed 22lr w/an inexpensive UTG red dot for it. (I had maybe $375-400) in it. (If that.) Friend would not entertain an offer to Buy it. (Only interested in Trades.) I came away, quite pleased. 👍
