Update on FG42 from SMG Guns

I have posted my SMG TII FG42 in 308 and Meopta ZF-4 scope with Estes Adams rings up for auction. Both are in excellent condition and I have put about 500 rounds through the rifle. Please feel free to ask any questions and Mods please delete if not allowed.

Maybe consider listing this up for sale here on the trader forum instead? The 18% auction premium is rather steep and will likely deter a lot of buyers.

Exactly. Why post advert here only for buyer to pay another ridiculous auction fee. 18% of the start bid 6k is another 1k. You could list the rifle for 7k here and profit an extra 1k already...

Looks like it sold for $6,800.

So the seller could have 100% sold it here for more AND the buyer would have saved substantially in auction fees. Bad move.

1. The auction is still open. Final bidding starts today at 12pm Eastern.

2. I decided to auction the rifle because the company handles all payment and shipping. Zero chance of any sort of fraud. That is a personal risk/reward decision.

3. I negotiated a substantially reduced commission.
