Hello all, Attached are pictures of my latest addition. The stock stamps are hard to distinguish but I took some quick pictures to post on the forum. Cheers, Erich

    Geco DSM 34 Duffel Cut

Picked up a little 22 trainer for a fun shooter to go plinking with. Was told the forend was lost and replaced with another piece of wood and it isn't drilled for a stacking rod. Took a few quick pictures with the phone. Starting to fill in the rack! Sent from my SM-G965U using Tapatalk

    BNZ. 4 2497 b

Here is BNZ. 4 2497 b, it appears to have a replacement stock and the lower band has no serial. Everything else appears to be numbers matching.

    A "Rare" Bird

Hey guys, I've got something a bit odd to share with you. A smooth paint Luftwaffe helmet with a green "subdued" decal. The originality of these is highly controversial with most people believing they were all applied post war, or if they were applied during the war it was done at the...

    Light Green Camo Helmet

Hey everyone, I purchased a single color camo helmet, it's coming from overseas so it will be a few days at least before I can upload some pictures. It is a unique color, from the pictures I saw almost like a seafoam green. This helmet was said to be found in italy (southern front), but the...

    "Forest Find" M40 SS Helmet

Hey guys, just wanted to share a new pick up. It's pretty rough, but I thought the decal looked pretty good for the condition, and of course it cost me a considerable amount less than an M40 in good condition. I'll get better pictures at some point. I looked for a maker mark and lot number when...

    BNZ 45 7949S Walnut

Hello all, I present you a new pickup from the Trader. Here's a matching S block BNZ 45 I received from Caesar1. It had shellac on the stock; however, I honestly wouldn't have know if he didn't acknowledge it in his posting. I thought it was interesting how the cocking piece and bolt handle are...

    M35 DD Luftwaffe Painted Tricolor

Hey everyone, Wanted to share a new pickup, I present a M35 presumably from 1938 if chinstrap is original to the piece. Has the amount of patina I like on a helmet, and the second pattern eagle is in very good condition. Curiously the tricolor seems to be touched up long ago, as the white paint...

    1938 S/42 3702 C Striped Walnut

Hello everyone, I took some more pictures of one of my recent acquisitions, it seems like a few of you were looking for a thread with more pictures. It is believed to be a factory mismatch bolt 8702 C which is matching to itself, and has a 00 marked cleaning rod. Due to a stiff safety and...

    Bnz 45

Hello all, I recently acquired another BNZ 45 which replaced the example I sold on the trader. Here are some pictures of the beauty I got from Mauserken. Thanks again!

Post Your Factory Mismatch Rifles Here

Hello all, I wanted to start a thread where people could post factory mismatch rifles. I recently acquired a rifle which is believed to have a factory mismatch bolt. I am just curious to see how many rifles like this are out there, what types of mismatches are most common et c. If you have any...

    BNZ 45 - comments?

Hey everyone, Just picked up a BNZ 45. I have s few questions, what's up with the extractor, is in aftermarket or has all the finish just worn off? My fingers are worn out trying to get it off but I took pictures best I could with it on. Additionally the cocking piece doesn't have any serial on...

    Mauser safety origin?

Hey guys, just wondering what the "m" or whatever this stamp on the lower part of this safety is. Sent from my SM-G965U using Tapatalk

    First 237 1938 K98k, any info?

Hey guys, Just picked up my first K98k today and decided to take as many pictures as I could without taking down the stock. It is an all numbers matching gun, minus the floorplate, which has only the number 1 on it. Can anyone tell me the history of these rifles? I'm interested to hear anything...

    Questionable Band Stamp?

Hello all, Saw this mauser for sale and the barrel band "8" definitely just doesn't look right to me. Threw snips of the bolt and receiver stamps as well, which both look normal. Let me know what you guys think. Thanks!
