I don’t think all DOU stocks were numbered I have a DOU44 in the ff block that is not numbered but stamped

Depends on what your expectations are, if you’re trying to a find a nice matching example you’re gonna have to do a lot of research. If you just want a shooter then you don’t need the books. You think you only want one, but once you fall into the rabbit hole 1 turns to 5 real quick

Get the books! And then reference the picture index when you find a rifle you are interested and ask questions

It seems from what I can find online they made a very small amount in the 1,000,000-1,010,000 then it went to letter k was just trying to confirm and if that makes it more collectible

If you’re having a hard time with the photo size I always take them on fcbk messenger and send them to myself it uses the right size then you can save and upload no problem

I’m not an expert and others will know more but this rifle has been sporterized into a hunting rifle. When this happens generally most of the collectors value is diminished. Although some people do like to restore them.
