    Hardness test mark

Was looking at a bcd last night and noticed something I had not before. The extractor hardness test mark was there 6 times? Seems a little odd.

    Reloading for the G43

44 grains IMR4064 with a 150gr is my favorite, accurate and does not beat it up. 45 grains of 4895 works fairly well too. Both are tame. 4895 seems to beat the casing less but that may be a fluke.

Dust cover for G43 milled bolt?

What differences are there between the G41 and G43 milled cover? Just curious. Never looked at two side by side to compare.

    Bubba’s masterpiece

It should be melted down out of mercy.

    Waffenmeister Bubba Strikes again!

Milled bolt housing and solid knob bolt carrier. Could be tragic loss of an early one.

    P38 ac41

Cool gun refinished or not. AC41 is a cool code and these were among the best made P38s with markings all over. The AC on the trigger guard stands out when comparing against others.

    P38 ac41

Refinished for sure. AC41 should have a gloss finish. It is a first variation with the AC on the trigger guard, this dissappears shortly after A block I think, perhaps B I need to look it up

    bcd G.43

You may think to get a spare bolt carrier before shooting too. Looks like that is numbered and the early type without the rib and solid handle. The rib gets added to help with strength and would be a crime to damage it. They are fun but money pits. Sorry about your stock... that sucks.

    K43 ac45 b block

That is a fine late war example you have.

    P38 AC45 C Block

These are a fun variation. Most any other weapon you cant pin down where it was on a certain date. These you can for sure though knowing they were on the factory floor. Kind of essential if collecting P38s. A fine addition you have there!

    Potato Mashers

Thanks! Will need to find a smoke grenade at some point. You know how this goes, I wanted one for the sake of having one way back when when I started collecting. Then you kind of want a WW1 example and it grows from there.

    Potato Mashers

These are my grenades. Not especially greatest condition but a fun assortment.

Question on Durofol handguards on 45 dated rifles

They should typically be on BLM made DUV or QVE rifles. There is a possible exception on Walther's 1944 K block, but it may be a fluke. It is not believed AC or BCD should have Durofol. They used the wood version also, so they are not especially rare exactly, just a cool little difference.

    K 43 AC 44 Q block

Another very cool rifle! I like the backwards 45 bolt carrier.

    K 43 QVE 45 a block ZF 4

Cool rifle! Which magazine codes are they?

    Just in - display MG34

Looks like a fine addition to an impressive display.

    Helmet compare

Space to display is limited, so I rotate headgear now and again. Cool contrast and compare for your viewing pleasure.
