    A tale of 2 followers......

+1 on that. Thanks. The follower on my G33/40 is in the white, has the bevel and is marked with a capital P. Obviously the wrong follower for the rifle. Anyone know where I might find a G33/40 follower? I have tried all of the usual internet sites (Numerich, Sarco, Ebay, Gunbroker, etc) with...

    A tale of 2 followers......

Good question. I have a dot 42 G33/40 and the magazine follower has the bevel so that the bolt can be closed without having to depress the follower. Is this correct? Thanks in advance for any info. Russ

    Museum grade collection

Holy Hot Sauce, Batman! World class collections. Outstanding!!! I do agree that keeping your collection in a safe is the best protection but IMHO having it on display in your secured man cave/war room really adds a whole lot to the enjoyment of having these weapons in the first place...

    Enfield No2 MK1

Enfield No2 Mk1 Very nice pistol. My example is a 1932 dated weapon with similar but slightly different markings. I would agree with Hambone that the grips do not match the No2 Mk1 pistols I have seen. The ones I have observed (including mine) have checkered grips. Other than that...

    KKW Repro Rods

All righty then, with regard to the length of KKW cleaning rods: apparently the length of the KKW cleaning rods varied from the "official specification". My question would be: what are the various length(s) of cleaning rods that have observed? Also are certain lengths of cleaning rods found on...

    KKW Repro Rods

A bit off topic but still relevant (I think). I am a bit confused with regard to the correct length of the KKW cleaning rod. The "official" length seems to be 12.6 inches (per blue print posted on this web site) plus photos from Speed's book (pages 178 and 181). However there seem to be...

    asw commercial

First post on the forum. I have a recently purchased SG84/98 that came in a late war "bread bag" frog and is marked with the asw scales logo and text "Alcoso Soligen". Those are the only markings on the blade and none on the scabbard. I do not have pics but the dealer I bought it from still...
