    Arisaka type 38 with an Odd Stamp, Info Needed!

    school rifles turned up on the battlefield too. My grandfather's Type 38 is school marked. It was captured on Okinawa. I guess they returned the rifles to service late in the war.

    1917 Oberndorf a.N. with 1915 Weyersberg Kirschbaum 98/05

    I have the same year and maker bayonet Except it is not a sawback. It was with a 1917 C. Schilling, also all matching, but duffle cut. I shot it a bit before someone talked me out of it, and it was a very accurate rifle.

    Same serial number as my bcd bnz 4, but mine is an "l" block.

    New guy

    I'm new also I just have two Mausers currently, a turked Kar.98a and a sportered bcd bnz 4 that i am putting back to military. Both are wonderful rifles, albeit of the shooter grade. But they are worthy of my little collection. Nice to see you on and hope to see pics of your Mausers.

    Cool Pic Looks like a pretty tough customer. Amazing how mature they all looked even though most were maybe 19, 20.

    My BCD/BNZ44 dual code

    Great pics now I know what mine is supposed to look like as I de-bubbify it. Serial number is 9072 "L" or "1", guess it is an "L". the bolt is M/M it has WaA280 in several places.
